Jun 14, 2010 · I'm a fairly new mac user, and have loved my macbook so far. I don't know what settings I could have changed, but for some reason, my macbook won't play video's. I can go to youtube, open a video, but it won't play for some reason. This is something that has just started. Any suggestions? Thanks, Brad in Fairview Heights, IL

I will list those particular respects for YouTube won’t play videos in the next. Reason 1. YouTube videos load but won’t play due to computer hardware issues. From time to time, computer problems can stop the process of playing YouTube videos even it is observed YouTube videos loading but not playing. You must have done everything you could with your computer to let the YouTube Videos play on Windows 10, but it won't. You must have visited the website of YouTube, clicked on the video you want to watch and waited forever to wait, and it did not play. The page loads, but then the video itself just won't play. The black screen comes up and then a circle, saying it's loading but it just never does. I've tried: - Using Firefox in safemode, which caused YouTube to work again. I then re-entered the normal mode an disabled my only add-on (AdBlock Plus), but YouTube still didn't work. But, YouTube videos won’t play if your selected video quality is higher than its original upload quality. To be specific, some videos were recorded based on the standard definition so that they are not available in the high definition. Solution: In this kind of case, it is wise for you to change the quality of the video. I know YouTube has its fare number of issues, but a video platform not displaying video is just unacceptable (unless you want to play audio only).If you are currently just seeing a black screen on YouTube while the sound plays (or not even that), then you are not alone.
